The Barcelona Plus solution is proposed for outdoor flooring. This consists of a pre-treatment applied at the factory, developed to reduce the appearance of the typical efflorescences which spoil the appearance of fired clay, and to make the tiles more resistant to ice and to the treated waters used in swimming pools.

Treatments which are complementary to the Barcelona Plus series are proposed for indoor flooring. These are applied "in situ" to protect the tiles and greatly reduce the risk of staining. So the Barcelona Series of paving can be acquired with a water-resistant pre-treatment applied in the factory (Plus 10) under the name of Barcelona Plus.

Its special characteristics ensure: greater speed of installation, total elimination of efflorescence, improvement of physical characteristics, ease of cleaning on site, the immediate application of the anti-staining treatment and finishing waxes, totally eliminating the classical problems of terracotta.

Barcelona Plus is a total protector against damp, NOT against oil and grease stains. It is therefore necessary to take care to avoid the same during installation and until the end of the works.

Final treatment.
This should be carried out with solvent-based Products, aqueous based treatments not being recommended. We have therefore developed a line of Products called Terracotta Plus - Professional Maintenance System.
