PLUS 20
Description:
PLUS 20 is a modern, harder and faster drying version
of the traditional linseed oil seal. It is solvent based.
Primary Use:
This Product may be used as stain protection on terra
cotta pavers presealed with PLUS 10 to get a more tradifional
look prior to application of wax finishes. Treated tile
is stain resistant and easy to care for. lt is highly
recommended when a traditional leather-like finish is
desired that will enhance and darken color Variation It
can also be applied to terra cotta tiles not previously
treated.
Surface Preparation:
Insure that tile surface is CLEAN and DRY.
Instructions:
Apply to tile surface with spray, brush applicator or
roller. Apply evenly allowing sealer to penetrate deeply.
Repeat application of sealer 8 to 12 hours apart until
no more sealer will be absorbed. A minimum of 3 coats
is recommended. After each coat, burnish surface with
a soft cloth or natural hemp pads on polishing machine
if desired. Allow to dry 3 hours prior any floor traffic.
PLUS 100 Wax Finish is recommended as the final finish
for tiles sealed with this Product. Do not apply to damp
tile or damp surfaces.
Coverage:
Depending upon surface type and conditions. Approx. 4
to 8 sq. meters per liter on not previously treated tiles;
8 to sq. meters per liter on previously treated tiles.
Precautions:
Do not dilute. Easily flammable. Keep away from fire and
flame. Do not smoke. Wear protective gloves and eye protection.
Do not breathe vapors. Avoid contact with skin. Store
and use in well ventilated areas. Keep out of reach from
children. Sealer soaked rags are a fire hazard. Oil soaked
rags should be disposed of in a bucket of water to which
a small ainount of soap or detergent has been added.
Limitations:
Product may not be suitable for tiles which have been
previously sealed with other Products. Always test a small
area to insure desired result.
