PLUS 10
Description:
PLUS 10 is a highly penetrating, subsurface repellent
which does not change the color or appearance of the tile
surface. It is solvent based and must be allowed to cure
(minimum 24 hours) before other Products or finishes are
applied
Primary Use:
Used to treat Barcelona Pavers and other terra cotta pavers
to decrease water absorption and minimize efflorescence.
Increases surface hardness of the clay and improves resistance
to freeze damage and mold and mildew growth. Several coats
can be applied. Also, it can be used to treat bricks,
stones and other porous mineral surfaces to protect them
against water and weather conditions.
Surface Preparation:
Insure that tile surface is CLEAN and DRY.
Instructions:
Apply to tile surface with spray, brush applicator or
roller. Apply evenly allowing sealer to penetrate deeply
and avoiding the formation of bubbles. Do not allow Product
to puddle on surfäce - it must be either absorbed
or removed with an absorbent cloth before it dties. Spray
application is reconimended in most cases. Do not apply
if surface is wet or damp.
Coverage:
Depending upon surface type and conditions, approximately
4 to 8 sq. meters per lite.
Precautions:
Do not dilute. Easily flammable. Keep away from fire and
flame. Do not smoke. Wear protective gloves and eye protection.
Avoid contact with skin and breathing vapors. Store and
use in well ventilated areas. Keep out of reach from children.
Limitations:
Product may not be suitable for tiles which have been
previously sealed with other Products. Always test a small
area to insure desired results. As with all terra cotta
tiles, cosmetic changes over time are to be expected,
depending upon job and local conditions.
